Built in 1909 this iconic Farmhouse, at Endswell Farm on Bowen Island, is now on offer as a very special, vacation property.

The Farm House
Just up the stairs at the front you will enter the beautifully updated red farm house. The bright and open family style kitchen has seating for four at the island and eight at the table. As you can see under the Amenities link, the kitchen is well equipped, including a blender, mixer and bucket sized ice maker- a lifesaver for those staff retreat bookings.

The living room has a large couch, two comfy chairs and a toasty efficient wood burning stove. (Note: fires are banned in summer months). Just off the living room you will find a a traditional covered porch with a spectacular view of the farm, two rocking chairs and a swing for two. Grab a blanket and a book and enjoy this shady space. There is a laundry area in the closet downstairs complete with detergent, iron and ironing board. Two large bedrooms with king sized beds and a spacious bathroom with shower complete the downstairs.

Upstairs you will find two rooms with queen beds in the back of the house with views of the garden and in the front, a charming room with two farm style double beds. The upstairs bathroom has separated double sinks for washing up and a spa inspired deep tub. To maximize space, there are farm style open closets for your hanging clothes and fun peg hangers line most of the rooms in the house.


THE ENDSWELL FARM PROPERTY
The farm property is 12 acres with multiple barns where laying hens, sheep and donkeys are raised. A wide range of organic vegetables are grown in the greenhouse and outdoor planting area and there are several smaller garden plots containing crops like raspberries and cut flowers. The long table tented dinner space can seat up to 150, and sits in the center of the vegetable garden. Check out the pictures on the listing to see a sample table view from a recent wedding.

In the center of the working farm area is an outdoor kitchen used for events (speak to Noah about kitchen and pizza oven use) and a grassy area used for picnics on blankets as well as smaller events and dinner gatherings. The property contains a wood burning fire pit area available for use (except in summer months due to fire restrictions.

There are trails and streams on the property and acres of long grasses with daisies and wildflowers. The sheep and donkeys are often found roaming these beautiful fields.
